A New Youth Tennis Program

Dear Parents,

We hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer.

We are pleased to announce a new youth tennis program, American Team Tennis.  Join us this fall for tennis in a fun, team-based way.  The league will have different skill levels based on experience.  Players can sign up for their school team and indicate teammate preference if multiple teams are registered.  For schools and parishes who do not have enough registrations for a full team, the league will help form teams.  Boys and girls can play on the same team.  Also, players can also register individually and we will place them on a team.

Each player will receive a team shirt.  Racquets will be provided for the 3rd and 4th teams.

League Information:

WHO:       3rd – 8th grade teams (5-10 players required per team)

WHEN:    Sundays September 12th – October 17th

WHERE: Cincinnati Tennis and Education Center at Withrow High School and other locations such as Sycamore High School or CHCA depending on the number of teams. If your school would like to host, please let us know.

All 3rd and 4th grade teams will require a parent supervisor (coach) to help with the oncourt logistics for matches.

The Sunday match format is designed to allow players to compete in tennis while they are playing in another season, like soccer or volleyball.

The cost is $95 per player ( includes racquet and instruction for 3rd and 4th grade teams)

We also want you to know that a portion of the proceeds will go to the Cincinnati Tennis Foundation, who provide tennis and eductional services to children in need.  The CTF also supports a wheelchair tennis league, which is amazing.  So your entry into American Team Tennis be will fun for your player and impactful on players all over the city.

The deadline for registration is August 30th.  Please visit www.amerileagues.com  to register.  If you have any questions, please email me at ben.goodyear@amerileagues.com

Thanks,

Ben and Doug
